Configuring the vault

A vault will need to be created and/or configured before you can use the AMScriptTask sample task extension. To prepare the vault, follow these steps:

1. Create a new vault for testing or use an existing non-production vault.
2. Open the vault in Configurator and import the configuration file ScriptTasks.met. This file will create a set of VBScript procedures that demonstrate use of the AMSimpleTask and AMBatchTask tasks of the AMScriptTask extension and two commands to invoke the procedures:

• Simple Task
• Batch Task

3. If you imported ScriptTasks.met into an existing vault, you must enable the commands above for the document types for which you want to use them. See “Using your command” in the Meridian Enterprise Configuration Guide.
